Horticultural Grade Calcium Nitrate is a high-quality pure Calcium fertilizer that dissolves rapidly and completely. Our product has a limited caking sensitivity and is recommended through, fruit set and final fruit development. The high calcium level improves cell walls' strength during active cell division stages. The presence of nitrate nitrogen also positively affects the uptake of Calcium in the plant.
Improves fruit quality (less sensitive to bitter pit and blossom end rot) and shelf-life
Developed for fertigation in open field and greenhouses. Also suitable for foliar application.
Foliar applications of Calcium nitrate are recommended at 5 to 10 grams per gallon, Injection rates are typically 3 to 4 grams of Calcium nitrate per gallon.
